I posted up on CSS.net, but no one will give me an answer there. Someone told me that the injector harness on the non LSJ balt is the same as the LSJ. I dont really beleive it seeing how my cav and the balt r both L61 ecotecs even though stuff did change on tthem when they were put in Cobalts. Just looking for a straight answer.
Our harness includes the map sensor, so it has two rows of pins. the LSJ has one row of 6 pins (I think) just for the injectors. L61 balt should be similar to ours. two rows of 5 pins.

ok, thank you, just what i needed to know. Im going to go track down a LSJ harness now.
Why? are you getting an LSJ harness? It wont plug into where your stock injector harness plugs in. If you want to run lsj injectors I dont believe you even need to cut and splice connectors. If you want to run bigger injectors designed for the lsj you need to cut and splice your stock harness.

Yeah, i know i have to splice the stock harness
So why do you want an lsj harness? Just got to the junk yard and cut the ev1 style connectors off of basically any ford (thats assuming you are going with 60# or larger injectors, if you're going with 36# or 42# you dont need to splice anything [so long as the 42's are from the GM Stage kit]). Escorts are the easiest to find those connectors on and get them off of. BUT for just slightly more they make clips that go between our connector and ev1. PJ has the link to them, search for it on here.

Im getting the stock LSJ injectors (36#) But i was under the impression that any of the LSJ injectors would require me to splice the injector connectors on to my harness. I pulled a 02 fuel rail the other day and i have a AFPR that is going on it. A buddy of mine has HPTuners and is going to change the injector constant for me. Im doing these mods because in the near future, i am going to be installing the 2.4 intake mani, and hopefully soon after that will have a ported and polished head.
LSJ injectors plug straight into our stock J-body eco harness. No cutting and no splicing. If you are unsure if the LSJ injectors will plug into your L61 Cobalt harness, why not just take an injector out to your car and try plugging it into the harness?
its an old concept. time for something new to take the reigns. - Z yaaaa
Good call, im so retarded sometimes, lol
Got the injectors, plugged right in to the stock harness. Thanks everyone for your help
