Exhaust Sound Clip Thread
Wednesday, February 02, 2011 6:53 PM
Hopefully this will cut down on the number of threads about picking out a good sounding exhaust. Please link to a quality video/sound source. Post shall include the following:

Fill this in:
-Engine
-Stock or not (If not stock, list mods like Cam/headers/turbo etc...)
-Pipe size
-Cat (yes/No) and type (stock/hi-flow)
-Muffler (Brand and Part number if possible)
-Tip style
-General comment about it's sound/performance

Sound clips should be edited I dont want to have to watch you set the camera down on the ground walk into your car and start it (there's plenty of good software for this for free (legal or otherwise)), they should include:
idle
free reving
normal driving from inside the car
hard driving from inside the car
a WOT pull from inside the car
a WOT drive by
a normal driving drive by

he failed to search. plain and simple. unless you skipped that part too. since you seem to be jumping to conclusions all the sudden

And as you failed to quote, him and Dan also pointed out a lot of the links and videos don't work, so why not update a new thread?

why not update the old thread that was already posted? the topic was made, started, and now we should just repost new threads to replicate the old ones... makes sense, i mean you are right, in no way would it have made sense to look in that thread and post in it so it brings it to the top.... yeah thats retarded for sure. good thing i never thought to post in a thread that had info i was looking for...

not to mention if there was a specific one you wanted to hear. there is this little box that has a p and an m in it, just click that and you can send a message to the person seeing if they still have the video, or even the car for that matter. again i know, all this logical thinking stuff is out of this world.

and no, i quoted correctly, i wanted it to repeat that he said all he had to do was search.

The idea was to make a new thread (I did find that one through search) that wasnt cluttered with stupid @!#$ (like all these @!#$ texts post arguing about the @!#$ thread) and also had an OP that laid out everything the way its supposed to be done. Either contribute or GTFO.
