Really? It sounded kinda deep on a youtube video but I guess the video quality could somewhat change the sound

It may sound decent, I have not heard one in person yet. But since it's a brand I can only find on ebay, I can only assume that it will rot out within a year or two.

I have their 2.5 cat-back. Its excellent quality. It might be cheap and on ebay, but its american made and good quality. Its all SS, and good thick material not flimsy chinese junk. any tig welds are very neat too. It sounds great with my SLP high flow too.

I just bought a new exhaust, the SRS off ebay as well. Its is good quality, all T304 polished piping at 2.5 inches. I was impressed when I saw it actually. IInstalling on Monday. I am impressed with the whole exhaust, and I"m sure it will sound better than my current magnaflow muffler which is very raspy! I agree with Ryans comment above. My only other choice would have been megan racing exhaust but it was almost twice as much.

Well, put in my TSUDO header, looks great. Went to bolt up the SRS exhaust and its missing a straight pipe. I have to get SS straight pipe about 3 feet or less (not going to have a hi flow cat this time) then weld it to the header. This is not a bolt up exhaust. Comes in two pieces. The muffler is attached to the pipe, not like magnaflow where you have a clamp holding muffler to piping. Second piece fits great but is way short. Even with my cat, the exhaust is still to short. I'll have it sorted out tomorrow pm as waiting for SS straight pipe. Running open header, kinda cool lol. I'll post up pics of sounds soon

The problem I have heard about with the ebay brand mufflers is that the insides of the muffler become disconnected from the housing and rattle like crazy after a year or 2.

Well... my SRS exhaust did not fit! The mid pipe did, but not the muffler and connected piping that is supposed to clear the rear axle did not! Also, the muffler did not have a hanger in place for the stock rubber hanger. It had a 1.5 X 4 inch bracket welded on the muffler. I would have had to have the shop weld the muffler on too! But, since it couldn't clear, didn't make a difference. I think its for a 95-01 cavalier, but then again I have bought an exhaust that fits 95-05 cavaliers in the past. Very friendly customer service. I will ship it back and have to find another exhaust system. So, good luck to those who buy SRS. Hope it fits for you guys.

Crap, I cannot find an exhaust for under $500. The ones I find look just like my SRS and even though sites specify model years 95-05 or 95-03, I am very skeptical. To go with my original RKSPORT magnaflow muffler I am looking at $400 and I want 2.5 inch piping anyways. MONZA is crap, SILK Automotive seem to have decent prices on exhaust but looks like my SRS, so not sure! I need a good quality exhaust that is around $300 that will FIT my cavalier FOR SURE! Vibrant is expensive, megan racing is out for a few weeks on the exhaust (my first choice). Thermal dynamics is also 500 and up, plus is 2.25 inch. I need one asap. Anyone else know?

I had no clearance issues on my 05 with the srs. I did make a bracket to adapt the factory muffler hangar. But that's fine with me, I'm building a customized vehicle, so that's almost to be expected. I also did notice the mid section was a bit short, but I have a high flow cat and a custom downpipe so everything between the turbo and srs was built to fit

That's weird. SRS did say to me making exhausts for the cavalier is tricky. Some years, have different hanger mounts than others even trim level differs! They never know which years there exhausts for cavy will fit. You just got lucky I guess. I bought a magnaflow set up with 2.5 inch SS piping due to arrive tomorrow. I am returning the SRS exhaust for a refund. Customer service was great.
