The exhaust on my vert is falling off and while its not running I want to replace a lot of things on it. What is the going rate for an exhaust shop to make a 2.5 inch compression bent cat back exhaust now days? I could go custom tubes for a little less than 200 dollars but then spend more on having it welded on at the shop anyways.

I wanna say 200-250 with out muffler. My header to cat (downpipe) was like 100, when I had it replaced due to rusting out.

I'm pretty sure my guy charges me $250 canadian with pipe (no mufflers/cat). He's in the process of finishing up my 3" now.

I just paid $800 for S&R Performance to build me a 3" exhaust that connects up to my turbo down pipe and then Y's after the rear trailing arm for duals. This shop is pretty expensive but some times good work cost top $. I will say that the last exhaust I had was about $280/w dual mufflers at a shop called Deep Discount. Shop around I am pretty sure you can find some one in that ball park.

how dare you ask this cory without asking me, you know all the exhaust work ive had done at the local willards. for my dump tube and turbo to resonator it was 400 but he did some increible work on my dump tube. and then resonator to mufflers was 275

Haha I never thought to ask you for some reason. Did the $275 include the mufflers and tips? I've already got that part plus I don't have duals.

Hmmm, after i got my turbo done, i went to my shop and had a 2.5 inch custom with a flex pipe and a magnaflow high flow cat and i believe it was right around 400 for everything.

I got 2.25 compression bent from downpipe to muffler with cat for 150 canadian. The welds arent fantastic, but theres no leaks anywhere, and its survived 3 pretty decent winters here haha
