Im looking to buy the ARP main stud kit for my LD9 build. Im also doing the 2.3 oil pump swap and was planning on using a windage tray. The problem is I was looking at the ARP main studs on Summit yesterday and noticed that it says that they will not work with windage tray. So my question is has anyone used the main studs with a windage tray or is this actually impossible? If not possible, do I really need the windage tray?
i used them with the windage tray. the fit fine, no problems
they fit just fine....
its the bottom of the oil pump that you need to worry about with the studs. you'll need to clearance it a bit....

there isnt a special one for just the oil pump swap...
same kit for both quad 4 and LD9: ARP # 281-5401
