looking for pictures of your install to get an idea of how i'm going to route my plumbing. for those not familiar with the camaro style, it's an inlet and outlet on the driver's side, with an additional outlet on the passenger side. i know there are several members running this setup, i was just unable to get any responses from the search, AND the members search.

you should really look into blacking out your 3rd brakelight.

can you take a picture of the car further back so i can see now much of the muffle is visable from behind, also what springs are you running
JBO since July 30, 2001
I'll get that pic later today, and the car's not lowered, still got stock springs/struts
Here's the pic that's farther back
Not too noticeable imo, but you could always paint the muffler black to hide it more
Does the muffler sound good?
yellowchevy: you should get a 03+ Z kit, should hide that muffler nicely
mine is mounted the same way, with a lip on there you cant even see the muffler
Eat my shift
I have a Walker QuietFlow3 camaro style muffler, it's pretty big, but it sounds good when it's warm. I'm ready for something different though, it's a bit quiet for me now.
Pics are from a long time ago, but you get the picture.
Painted flat black to hide it a bit better.
A test fit
Finished
And with tips
This is probably the best sound clip I have of it
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Mine's the magnaflow one, along with 2.25" piping and a 18" resonator
The second clip was taken on the day i got it installed
I am also looking at doing the magnaflow one on my car,Just wondering if anyone has pics of the mounting points to hold the muffler and pipe,Thanks..

Here is what it sounded like on my car (this was sold to and installed on M2's car after 50 or so miles lol)
I did not have a resonator and had pacesetter header. It sounds much better on M2's car with a 31 " resonator.
theyellowchevy you had me sold on do it
however this guy YOU WIN thats exactly what i'm gonna do

Mine is the flowmaster, for exhaust when i first put it on i had the DC Sports 4-2-1 header, no cat and full 2.5 exhaust.... it didnt exactly sound nice lol
I now have the DC with a magnaflow hiflow cat and a 28 inch ( i think about that size) thrush resonator. Sounds muchhhhh better and now i can actually hear the blower lol
Although im sure with the 3800 it will sound better regardless
Eat my shift
it may i have a dynomax on there now but will switch to this setup soon sucks cause i had 1 of these sitting around for 5 years in my basement then tossed it 2 years ago and now i could use it but it was 2.5in and i want 3 so not too disapointing
