Figured a free muffler,plus anything will sound better than stock, and like you said if its too bumblyy maybe a long resonator will help

I would sell it or give it back and buy a brand name muffler, magnaflow or flowmaster, dynomax, etc....

I've heard the magnaflow and I think dyno and I like my sound just a tad louder,even with the longest resonator and the will it still be too loud?
Also it has a silencer.

plus, your car will become a cop magnet, trust me, I had 2.5" exhaust on my Cobalt SS, no cat, 18" res and fart can with a 4.5" tip, actually sounded good (I thought anyways) wasnt raspy or anything but was deep and LOUD plus the ported s/c and intake made the s/c whine alot more noticable.

yes it will. Next car I put an exhaust on is getting black painted mufflers with black painted turn downs (next car's going to have twice the cylinders, hence the pluralization). Then you can have a loud exhaust but no visual magnet that its you, especially in a cavalier.
