hey guys just looking for some kind of aftermarket cam setup, im new to 4 bangers but i know v8's but im really bad with numbers, is there a cam kit for an ld9, i have a 98 z24 ld9 with just a hair over 240k on it- but back to what i was saying, looking into a cam swap, bottom end is stock, just want to do some cams and valvetrain just to make it go a little faster, any part numbers or anything, i read over that cams list earlier but it just shows cams, do i have to upgrade rockers, and valves? lemme know, im going to bed for now though, ill check when im up thanks

Well really ya dont have to, but if your doing that theres not much point in not machining the head and upgrading the rest. Watch cams with higher lift and upgraded rockers as the covers dont have the clearance for that. JBP sells machined covers for the clearance.

the LD9 doesn't have rockers, all we have are "lifter buckets" that the cam rides on that pushes on the springs. Do a search on here for the Secret Cam swap, tons of information there.

id be looking into a rebuild long before cams get worried about.

If you reallly wanna do only cams, secret are probably the only direction for you to go. Any other cams would need tuning and even secret cams should have tuning to get the max power, but won't lean things out to dangerous levels on the stock tune.
