ld9 build

alright im finally deciding to build my ld9 instead of running basically stock with the m45 kit my plans are as follows

2.6 smoothflow pulley
wiseco pistons (still deciding if i want to bore over .020 or not)
eagle rods
w41 cams already found some i know they are hard to get
snowperformance meth injection kit
solid motor mounts and tranny mount
pacestter header (heard they are decent headers for the price)

thats about it im hoping to be around 250 on this build but havent worked out any numbers or anything if anyone has any suggestions im open to everything u guys got i know some of you guys have some nasty ld9s so suggestions will definitely be appreciated

just to let you know... nobody on this forum has ever hit 250whp with an M45 so you have ur work cut out for you. although... i definitely see it being a possibility. with enough work.

id go at least .040 over with high compression pistons if i were you...

and the head work is going to need to be phenomenal.

2.3 oil pump swap
ported head
HO cams (W41 work to)
at least 10:1 CR
Good header
2.4" pulley
alcohol injection (i never really used mine that much though)
60mm TB

Also bigger injectors and a lot of tuning. I never upgraded my injectors or had the program modified, kinda regret it.

The 3800 swap isnt for the faint of heart. There is no bolt in solution yet for it.

The swap requires a custom subframe be built to hold the motor in the car.

ya i was looking at a thread in here where a guy did the swap and seen the custom subframe my friend is going to school for welding and is pretty good so im thinking he may be able to weld me up a frame and it really doesnt look like the subframe is anything crazy justmaking it fit properly iswhat looks hard well the wiring doesnt look to fun either
