So I was looking into an LSJ swap, but that was quickly shot down after searching lol, but I have an opportunity to buy a BUILT LSJ, or maybe just buy parts...my question is, the LSJ has 79LB injectors on it, and was wondering if that would be able to work in an L61 (The swap i decided on) Also, it has a TVS supercharger and was wondering if that would also bolt to the GMPP manifold or if i would have to have more mods to make it work?? Any other stuff that swaps over from LSJ to L61? Dont know a whole lot about them at this time..Thanks in advance for the help!!

WOW lots of questions there, injectors will fit from what I know the charger will fit with the manifold but not sure what else would have to be swapped.
Oh, sweet. Would the LSJ intake manifold fit? I know its the dual plane, with option B is what he said...

Also, when looking someone said because the LSJ swap is so hard, to take the LSJ head, throw it on the L61 block....didnt know if there was more info on that? Ive searched but didnt find much else...

You can throw that whole engine in as it stands, you just need the external crank trigger wheel. The guy selling them is no longer on here so you'll have to find him on ecotec forum. And look in PJ (squrils) build thread for clutch tranny stuff because I cant remember what he ended up doing to make that part work. You'll juat a have to also rewire a few bits to work with the cavy computer and tune the @!#$ out of the computer.

So the cobalt ss charger wont bolt up to a l61? i thought it would what is so hard?
It is if you dont know how to use google. I didnt have to post a thread about my blower install I got all the parts and banged it out in a weekend. Then afterwards I had to ask what people were doing for intakes because such a thread really didnt exist.

Might have a trigger wheel in my possession that Id like rid of.
With all the work of putting the LSJ in....its would just be more worth it to L61 swap and do LSJ top end....Seems thats the way everyones going i think??

not necessarily... the lsj bottom end is stronger than the l61. if you can get a good deal on the lsj, it's going to be cheaper to drop the lsj in than it will be to buy rods/pistons and have the block machined. crank trigger wheel will be the main concern. I believe you would use the lsj flywheel as well. (lsj crank is 8 bolt i believe where the l61 crank is 6 bolt) I don't believe you can use the lsj clutch/pressure plate though as the transmissions are different. (skwirls thread should outline what is needed as mentioned earlier)
you would also need the j-body throttle body adapter (gm kit, tinkles ls1 tb adapter, etc) as the lsj is drive by wire.
Well, im not sure on price on the LSJ...he told me its definatly going to be in the 4 digits, considering it has a TVS, MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, GM option B dual pass, heat exchanger, intercooler, forged pistons, ect. all come with it....so, i guess considering i would be getting an already built engine going LSJ route, it may be worth the swap....looking for skwirls thread now....just am really going to hate all the wiring, well, im assuming wiring from the searches previously...

I'm pretty certain that all the connectors just plug in besides you having to use your cps externally and the re wiring for the 2.5 bar tmap that all of us blower guys did. At worse you'd just be swapping connectors.oh and get the connectors that connect between our injector connectors and the ev1 style in the lsj. Should have a link to one of them in one of pj's threads. I remember the site for them was some rx7 site our something like that.
