What does a stock balancer weigh on a 04 eco? wondering as I am sitting here looking at this ATI that weighs 6.5 lbs thinking that is heavy.

6.75lbs not 6.5 lbs
ATI 8 Rib = 108 Ounces
ATI 6 Rib = 72 Ounces
L61/LE5 = 57.04 Ounces - 63.50 Ounces For both designs
RKsport Crank = 32 Ounces
MRZ Performance = 25.75 Ounces
Cobalt Addition = 22.7 Ounces
Custom Car Grillz = 13.9 Ounces
GM Ecotec Billet Crankshaft Pulley p/n 88958631 = Unknown
My last designed Crank = 28.40 Ounces
Per GM build Book....
Side note:
ATI 6 rib is rated to 600HP.

PRND321 Till I DIE
Old Motor: 160whp & 152ft/lbs, 1/4 Mile 15.4 @88.2
M45 + LD9 + 4T40-E, GO GO GO
So you would really have to be into the higher horsepower to see the benefits from this? Beacuse it is so much heavier I would guess that the more weight on the rotating mass would actually hurt the performance?
thanks for the reply!
The 8 rib is made for HIGH HP ecotecs. Higher than the 6 ribs, or very high revving ecotecs.

I'm guessing there is no such balancer for the LD9.
Nope, ATI never made one for any quad motor to my knowledge.
