the vaccume hose on my instake is somehow getting oil into my intake so im assuming its getting into my throttle body.. has anyone ever had this problem? and if so is it fixable?
Its natural to get oil into your intake stream, its part of your PCV system and from the factory instead of leaking oil into the atmosphere, it recirculates it into your intake so it can eventually be burned off through your motor.
To try to avoid this:
1. Clean your throttle body semi often & foam your motor
2. Get a oil catch can
The other theory about this being a negative besides having oil in your intake is that it can lower octane ratings.

so its not actually hurting anything?

No but overtime it will just make things dirty so I would at least keep up with cleaning.

okay thanks, they sell a very little filter, i believe its called a filter at advanced autoparts. i was told that would eliminate that, would that be a good thing to put on? it would also get rid of the vacume tube
