Lets face it. Sometimes we ALL go over the speed limit; and sometimes we ALL fail to look at our actual speeds.
Found myself doing about 85 this weekend coming home from upstate NY.
Also found a really annoying whistle at said speed. Sounded like it was coming from DIRECTLY in front of me.
Thinking Wipers?
thoughts?
Also: Had a tire get all kinds of angry on the same trip. Steel belt broke inside tire, gave me a ridiculous thump everytime the tire made a rotation.
Have had them all changed, just to be safe- but hearing a slight ticking sound from the front drivers side (Tire that belt broke)
Could i have damaged something, or could it just be spun grease, or something simple?
Have yet to take wheel off; so im thinking that it may be a simple fix. Mechanic said that brakes/ bearings are fine.
Thoughts?
SUPERCHARGER OR TURBO?!?? lol
Who knows what the whisle is, could be many things. With out actually hearing it.... hard to say.
The ticking sound may be a rock in your new tires, the treads are better and its possible its got a rock or something in it.

sorry I couldn't resist.
i agree with the rock in between the tread though, get them a good look over and see if you have any obstructions.
My windshield wipers whistled above 75 ish or around 55 if it had just rained

Just askin'...
Did a real good job reading the old thread, didnt you?
Stated it in the FIRST post that it was put back to normal.
any fender that sticks out from the one in front of it will cause a whistle, check to make sure your door isnt catching air from your 1/4 panel
Mine will do that going above 80 into a head wind. Idk what it is.
somwwhat related note, my car whistles like a turbo spooling up and down according to my rpms, ie> it sounds like its turboed, if i let off the gas it sounds like spooling down, if i put it under load, the sound is delayed but then it builds like a big turbo spooling up
I know EXACTLY what noise you're describing. It's a real loud/deep whistle. It doesn't happen all the time, only when your going against the wind as mentioned before. I always wondered if it was air getting under the plastic piece that goes over the headlights under the hood?
"In Oldskool we trust"
it must be something on the 95-02's, my 98 did the same, but my 03 doesnt, my carbon fiber mirrors make a whistle, but car made no whistling noises when it was stock
it's just vtec kicking in.
The bracket-less one piece wipers are a godsend if you have the wiper noise,
Mine had the whistle and it was the sunroof not sealing all the way.
the only thing i hear whistling on my car is the tb. but thats only at certain rpms.
