I blocked mine off. You will have a check engine light though, you can disable it if you have HP Tuners.

Manifold gasket designed for a non EGR car works for a block off. I had to do this with a 4-1 Header I was using.
Whats the point? They're cheap, dont effect power and normally give you better mpgs when they are working (unless you take it of and tune for the different with hpt then you can get even better)

whats the point? less weight, less wiring, less headache.
Less hassle when designing a header, doesnt really work to well with most intake manifold swaps, makes a mess of the intake manifold ports and valves, and they dont always work right.

It can be blocked off on those that have it. 99 to 02 LD9's do not have it
