Soo just got an intake manifold which I believed to be a 2.4 le5 intake manifold, but its different from every le5 manifold Ive seen on here. Its similar to a 2.2 l61 manifold minus the brake booster location and longer runners/plenum. The runners and plenum are similar to the le5 manifolds Ive seem, but they all have had wider runners that were smoother. Basicaly is this a certain style le5 and the others Ive seen are an ho, or is this some sort of 2.2 mani? Heres the pics, can get more if needed thanks

@!#$, think this may be the CA emissions le5 manifold..if so does anyone know the difference between this more common le5 manifolds?

I saw one exactly like this one on a wrecked saturn at the yard a few weeks back, but was slightly confused becasue the 2.4 I had before the blower was different. I'm curious to see what input other have to offer.

It is an le5 mani but from the 08+ cars. From what I read on CSS.net it's no different than our stock manifold,I'll post a link if I can find it again. the one you need is the manifold that came on the 06 & 07's le5

So is it pretty much useless? The runners seem to be similar length to those on the common le5 mani, and the plenum doesnt seem to be much different in size either. Though I dont have another l61 or 06/07 le5 manifold sitting here to compare it to, just going off pics. The runners just seem to be not as wide, heres some more pics

When I bought it the guy said its a le5 2.4 mani, only had the one pic of the back which was the second pic in my original post, thought it was a steal and didnt wana lose it out from under me so grabbed it up quick.. I figured the le5 may be somewhat different through the years, but not that drastic and also knew it wasnt an l61 mani. Looks like a waste of money if its not worth it, but maybe Ill test it out..have to hook my wideband up and maybe try out that new tuning app that can log airflow and iat's et like tuning software to see if theres a difference or is it not even worth it?
