I found a cat, pipe and muffler from a Cobalt ss locally for pretty cheap, will it fit on my 03 cavalier ls sport? Thanks in advance!
The pipe wont, but the Muffler will sound good on it.

Yes get a new pipe from your local custom exhaust shop. The cat should work too, it is a high flow cat.

Leafy... So you think run my oem cavalier header with the Cobalt cat and muffler?
Yeah that would be fine, though running a header wouldnt be bad either, you can always add that on later though.

The09GXP has done it. i think he also has a video of this also.
Thanks bro, I would think the cat and muffler would work, just the angle on the pipe wouldn't. So probably gotta buy new pipe at the exhaust shop...that's my guess.
i would contact that guy at least through PM bro. he can help you out alot im sure.
Yes sir....I sure did. Thanks!!
this is exactly what Im looking to do...a nice subtle sound yet improvement on performance. The only thing I'd do is get the dual outlet for tips to run the LT1 Camaro exhaust tips with the RK Sport rear lip.
how much do the shops typically charge to put in a custom pipe from the SS exhaust if you supply the muffler, cat, and maybe tips
04 Cav. 2dr. 5spd. My DD. 'Nuff said.
my last exhaust (on a 95 240sx) was about $75 (shouldn't be more then $100) since i provided muffler and cat... though that was almost 7 years ago im sure price of materials have gone up some... but that'll give you a rough guess
oh yeah not that it matters but a full dual exhaust on my 78 f150 (302) was $125 out the door minus- mufflers...
I had a shop quote me 278$ for 2" piping a high flow cat and to install it. I told them them header would already be on...and I already had the muffler. I wanted to do side dumps with the square tips just under my side skirts in front of my rear wheels. I still may do that....
