Hey guys, I'm not sure how many of you have shopped at DIYAutoTune before, but they've got some nice stuff for pretty decent prices. Injectors, Megasquirt, lots and lots of tuning related items. Anyway, for every 100 likes they get on their Facebook page in a week's time, they'll give a coupon for 1% off, up to 25% off. It's already at 7% off after just a day. Just a heads up for anyone looking to purchase anything tuning related. If you could like the page, that would be awesome! I'm in the market for MegaSquirt3, and 25% off would be a damn hefty discount!

I clicked like to help other guys out. I know I'm not the biggest fan but they have made leaps and bounds improvements since I last cared. Not my choice for a stand alone quite yet though.

is there a promo code or something or does it take it off the total after checkout
I like what I'm seeing from the new AEM EMS4, 800 bucks for a full fledged AEM system that is half price because it comes with half the injector and ignition drivers. I havent worked with it yet. I have worked with the Haltech S2000. Its a lot different to tune than the HP Tuners unit since you really just have to do everything in real time because its built in data logging kind of sucks (imaging just getting chart view from hp tuners), you can turn the logs into Log Viewer logs and work like hp tuners that way. OR build your own excel sheet that basically tunes the car for you. RRT is a complete god send on the dyno though. You really can go from base maps to tuned for max torque in every cell (which in a non vvt car also means peak gas mileage) in less than 2 hours. We will see what we end up buying for the race car this year, I'm going to be pushing for us to buy the AEM unit, so I can try it out and decide if I like it better than Haltech.
But really, in the end, it seems these days that all standalones have the same basic capabilities, and when choosing ones I would look at in order of importance.
1. Does it support everything I need, like VVT, MAF, Speed Density, My crank trigger, my spark setup, my injectors, Direct Injections, boost/meth/N2O control, etc.
2. How good is the tuning software.
3. How good is the logging software.
4. How is their customer support record (@!#$ty part about Haltech is that they are from Australia, also excellent in that you can call them at 4am and its a normal time for them)
5. How much is it.
6. Wiring an extra pain in the ass or just a normal pain in the ass?

Well, thanks guys for the likes! It got up to 18% off. 25% off would have been nicer, but I still saved over $160. Just ordered up MS3X plus all of the wiring harnesses for $688 shipped. There is some fun to be had pretty soon!
