Hey guys, my car is a 2002 chevy cavalier 2.2 ECO 5 speed coupe. I being searching information for quiet some time now about N/A ecotec. My plan is to deliver 160WHP/160WTQ all motor. The car is stock at this moment because I want to purchase all at once so I do not make mistakes and have to return it later, I want to do it right.
The plan:
2.25 304 stainless steel mandrel bend exhaust
2.25 magnaflow converter
2.25 18 inches magnaflow resonator
Pacesetter LSJ header
2.25 Dynomax Superturbo muffler
LE5 2.4L manifold
36lb cobalt ss green injectors
TTR Upper engine mount
TTR Lower engine mount
Good Tuned
160 pounds weight reduction
AEM CAI
New OEM spark plugs
Let me know what you guys think and what are my possibilities with these mods. I am still wondering is I should go 2.25 or 2.5, let me know guys. Thank you.

Thank you for the link. Blucavvy, what procedure takes place for a P&P head, what is change/upgrade and what can the cost of this job be?

the goal of p+p'ing a head is to increase the flow of it. more of a complimentary mod than anything, ur not going to see huge gains from it, it just helps to increase the overall efficiency of the engine itself. your'e looking at right around a grand or so i would imagine for a good p+p job.

honestly if your'e just shooting for 160-170 hp u don't need it. money is better spent elsewhere. you can attain that goal with simple bolt on's and a good tune. you shouldn't have to crack the engine open at all, unless you want to cam it. which is probly a better place to be spending money for the moment.

Oh thats great, making more than 160 to the wheels will be great, so there is a possibility I get 170. Will some cams boost the number by a good amount? If so, what cams you guys suggest me, and where can I get them from.
