So, while changing my oil pump today found that my connecting rods have some end play. Was wondering if there is a spec for this or if noticeable play is bad. Also if they require replacement which would be better, Sealed Power or Clevite?

i cant remember if sealed power is the same as clevite, i dont THINK so but you never know. i know ACL and "clemex" are though....
as for the play... what engine are we dealing with here?
Ok, just researched the bearings and they seem quite similar so will probably go with the Sealed Power as I can get them today. The engine is a 94 2.2.
