Please help me!!!

Alright so I'm having a major issue with my 2000 cavalier z24. When the car is idling it will idle just fine for about 3-5 mins at just under 1000 rpm. then it will suddenly cut out and drop to 0 rpms for like .5 seconds, then skyrocket to 2500 rpms, then back to the idle at just under 1000. then 3-5 mins later do the same thing. But thats not the worst part, sometimes when i go to stop at a red light the car will power down all together not catching itself. so i have to restart the car with the key. It started happening right after i got an oil change, and a day before i got an 02 sensor replaced. A while ago I got a 2.25 catback system installed and installed a header as well but these were about a week ago.

Please help!

I put this in to two threads cuz i really need help. sorry.

This would be a Maintenance issue, so you would post in the Maintenance and Repair Forum.

This is the performance forum. (Discussions about performance modifications to j-body automobiles which do not involve any kind of forced induction or nitrous)

You also posted in the general forum, which of course is not the Maintenance and Repair Forum. Really you only need one post, in the right forum to get help.

learn 2 forum.

Forum Rules
11. Do not cross post. Unless it is an official site announcement, cross posting, or posting the same message in more then one forum is NOT welcome.

12. Post in the correct forum. Each forum has a topic, and you can see it at the top of each page. If a message doesn't fit that topic, it will get locked or deleted. The general forum is a bit relaxed, but it is not an 'anything goes' forum either.
