Ecotec Crank Pulley

I have searched, and see nothing really recent. Are there any decent stock sized lightweight pulleys for the ecotec people? Alternator, Crank, or anything for that matter?

I would be interested in a lightweight crank pulley to match with my smaller blower pulley.

Why do you want one? Its never fun to have to replace main bearings. Only aftermarket pulley you should ever look at is a better damper. And ATi makes the only one.

i've been running a custom car grilles lightened pulley on my car for years now with no problems. It's stock size. I'm not sure they are still offered though.

MRZ's crank pulley, is the best one currently available. He has made changes to the pulley. Buy a new one! The old ones had oil sealing problems, and some broke. His design is very similar to the one I designed...

Custom Car grillz is smaller than than 03-05 ecotec's crank pulley.

Of all the 1,000s of ecotec motors with lightweight / under driven crank pulleys, how many have had main bearing problems / failures. I can not think of one, and Cobalt SS couldn't come up with a single one last time this discussion was brought up either.

Is there added wear, yes.

Psst............

Mike, whip us up some of your magic pulley skills on the Eco crank pulleys dude. Pretty please? lol

I'd personally go with MRZ's new design also, unless Mike takes the overly blatant hint^. I love his alternator pulley I snagged in the first GP back in the day.
