anybody have recent experience with them?
looking at the 62mm TB and ported intake for my 98 2200
i know theyve had a bad reputation, but i didnt know if it was still that way... worth checking
anybody else make a direct fit TB?
RSM / Z-Spec has had a less than stellar reputation. You can still buy some items from frankieZ on ebay. He is an old owner / partner of both companies, and people have had good luck actually getting functional parts from him.
All TBs aren't really the size they claim. They are just tapered....

hmm... well are they worth the price for any gain i would see... assuming i dont get screwed if i try to get one?
im just curious if thats a good investment, i already have an AEM style knockoff CAI, 4-1 header, 2 1/2in catback with a cheery bomb turbo muffler, TTR upper motor mount, and im looking to do a bit more... i just cant do internals. i work 6 days a week and drive my cavi every day
You dont have enough mods to get a gain from a larger throttle body.

? all it would do is give you more power with less throttle input but the same power at WOT (for the most part).

I got a crank pulley from them a year or so ago. Didn't have any issues, despite the bad rep. Got an email right away letting me know when it was shipped, and it showed up slightly after that. When in doubt, pay with credit card.

OEM can bore/sleeve throttle bodies... You'll just have to send it to them. Mine came out good

Your not going to notice any difference by going to a larger tb. You will get a nice hiss noise if you have a wai. But if you do go with a larger tb id at least try to find a header. And see if you can get somone to help you tune it.
