Ok I'm going to installing my Saab stuff on my new blue 04 when I get a motor this weekend. What I want to know is how far past the wideband sensor should I place the cut out? Thanks guys.
i have the wideband in my long tube header, followed by the cat, followed by the y pipe with my cutout...
i notice that when idling, the wideband reads a bit leaner than normal with the cutout open.

At least a foot irrc from the innovate full instructions. You can pull air back in the exhaust exit with the same pulses that cause scavenging and really mess up your o2 readings.

where is your cut out going to be? mine is pretty much right under the shifter. My wideband, I want to say is like 18" away from the turbo, and my o2 sensor is 24" or so? Also, when you do them, dont put them inline in the pipe, offset them on different sides of the pipe. If you dont it will disrupt flow and give you bad readings. id bet from my sensors to the cutout its 2'or more.
Your narrowband is further from the turbo than your wideband? But narrowband have a higher operating temp than widebands...

maybe its reversed, i cant remember. actually im sure it is, cuz on my old one the wiring came down by the trans tunnel, but the wb wiring was zip tied to the steering rack.
I'm going to have it just like yours. Under the shifter. And thx leafy that's the exact reason I asked that question because of what you just said I figured there was a reason for putting it a little ways from the wideband
you should have about 4' worth of pipe from turbo to cutout. Try 16-18" from turbo for wideband, and go 24-30" for the o2 sensor. then should have plenty of room to the cutout.
see my header comes down to about 6" past the firewall, with the two bungs side by side in the collector. My cat is about 18" long, and then there is the y pipe for the cutout. My cutout is under the passenger seat about 3" past the shifter.
