hi ive been looking like crazy online for a cold/ram air intake for my 1994 cavalier does anyone know where i could find one?? thanks.
best bet would be to get some 2.75" or 3" intake pipe with the bends you think youll need and make your own
alright thanks. i was also looking into possibly using one from a 95 2.2L but im not sure if it will work
engine wise it would work, but im not sure how the 2nd gen intakes are routed so i cant say if it would work in the engine bay, shouldnt be too hard to make a 3rd gen 2.2 intake fit
honestly if it will work, just buy an ebay intake and get a decent filter for it, basically when it comes down to it, all an intake is, is an aluminum pipe with a filter on the end
Check the fuel-economy related thread here... The OP built one of his own for dirt-cheap, and is probably willing to share how.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
A short ram intake for a 2.2 OHV should either fit or fit with a little modification. A cold air intake that runs to the fender probably wouldn't because of how different the dimensions of the fenders and bumpers are.

I got my 3' intake from ebay it comes off the throttle body to the front find all hardware and easy install.Best deal i got it was only $70 got it from ebay dont look for cavalier you will get all ecotec look under sunfire
My current intake is from a Acura integra, but this is my old set up...not the best place for the filter but i bought a intake tube for a 2200 and not a 2.2Ohv so i bought a 45 degree fitting and made it work..btw i know ur car is a 2nd gen im just giving you a idea
