Homemade Eco Intake - Anybody have Pictures?

Anybody make their own intake for their eco?
If you did, I need ideas of how to route around the TB cables.
I have the 2.4L from ebay, but the douche bag that changed my oil didn't @!#$ take off the tube, and instead pushed it out of the way, and broke tha tab off.
I'm also tired of it rubbing through the hood insulator.
Don't really want to drop $300 on an AEM or K&N when I already have an AEM filter.
Also, would LOVE to be able to keep the tube itself as straight as possible (thinking back to that thread thats around here somewhere), but I don't really see how that could be possible without re-locating the battery (not something I'm going to do with 20* weather and snow coming).

So if you guys made your own intake, how'd you do it?

Does that elbow hit the hood?
Did you shave down the cable bracket? If you did, how much did you cut off? Does th pipe hit the cables at all?
What size pipe is that?

I saw your post and went out and looked through my spare parts. I have an rksport intake piece that might help you out. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks arrival. What type of clamp are you using on that on the TB? Is it a T-clamp?
Can I use a regular hose clamp since my boost is sitting in the other room? Lol.

AL1A5, you have a pm. Price sounds great man.
