I have a sneaking suspicion that timing chain snapped. My car died while going about 15-20mph @ 2k rpms tops. Now my cars starter cannot turn over my car, changed battery and charged battery just to be sure.
My question is, is the timing chain visible from the valve cover if I remove it? Trying to see what it is before I have it towed back home to be fixed so I can have the parts in there and ready to go.
No idea why I posted this in performance, sorry about that.

Why would you want it to turn over your car?
Does the crank rotate? When you use the starter do things move or is it STUCK. Half the time people say "my car doesn't turn over" they're actually trying to say that the engine cranks but it won't run..

Its STUCK. It'll get like a half assed half crank in then stop on a bind. Tried to bare hand (more like bear hand) the motor. And it would not budge. I'll do further investigation when I get back home where my car is now and actually have proper tools.
Pull the spark plugs and look down in the hole and see if you can see anything that looks bad.

I'll check that out too. Had the car sent home while I'm at college so after finals this week I'll get to mess with it. Found a new engine with 30k miles for $300 so I may just pick that up after I get a chance to look at it.
