Tuesday, December 06, 2011 10:50 AM
All right guys. On my 02 cav currently I have a l61 pacesetter header. Also I have he le5 intake manifold etc. now when I bought my project car ol'blue, it had the rksport 4-2-1 header on it. So my question is which one is better for a na car that's a dd? my pacesetter or the rk?

4-2-1 is for more mid range power... generally speaking... most people here prefer 4-1...

This calls for a back to back dyno test.

lol, I can only say about rksport 4-1 header compaired to others as there are dyno charts, but 4-2-1 I have never ran in my cars, and the 4-1 the rksport does win but there are a few other companies that produce better

It depends on where your building your power band. Typically longer runners (4-1) flow the best at the top-end. While mid collectors on a 4-2-1 setup are more mid-ranged power. Thats the simple answer without getting into the exhaust flow theory etc etc.
