I have heared of alot of ways to bypass ur car so it wont shut off at 115. Like find the hot wire that runs to the speedo clip into it and run to switch. What is the safe way of doin this. Can i buy a chip to bypass it. Can i huke it up to a computer and delete the code or what.

the safe way, proper way is using HPTuners to raise the limiter.

It is impossible to increase the limiter. The car will blow up and you'll die, you will crash into a truck loaded with puppies, kittens, and babies and they'll burn to death.

If you knew enough to be able to make your car fast enough to go past the factory speed limiter, you'd know enough to get around it without asking.

this is the BIGGEST BVLL@!#$ excuse anyone can give!!

This is not the truth. Fact is you can know about turboes, ad building a motor, but not kn ow @!#$ about electronics.

I have ran into many oldschool V8 guys who know nothing about electronics, and can build badass motors. They would not be able to tell you how to get around it.

I also find it funny that alot of these oldschool V8 guys with s10's etc... Can build cars that will fly, and go way over 109mph, but they are in pile of crap s10's with stock brakes etc.. I bet no one would tell them there car is not safe, because they have a badass V8 that makes lots of power.

While I don't know what the intentions are of the original poster, I will say that not everyone disables the governor so that they can exceed its speed limitation. I disabled mine simply because I could not bear the thought of putting all this work into a car and have people ask me how fast it can go, only to respond with 'its governed at 109'. At least now I can genuinely say 'I don't know. I've never topped it out'. That and a 109 governor is not conducive to having a speedo that reads up to 140. For me it was a psychological thing.

I thinks its the best answer you can give. I wasn't tuned with HPT the first time I hit the limited in the quarter.
Sucks when you drive all the way to the track for a day of fun and hit it on the first pass. What's the point of running anymore runs.
After some thinking I unplugged the VSS and ran the rest of the day. I knew nothing of tuning hence why I wasn't tuned.
