hey i want to start wrking on my motor and i was wonder what kind of camshafts, rods and springs and other things i should get?
well its all up to your budget but everything you listed is available for the L61 ecotec.
comp cams sells multipal grinds for your engine depending on use. eagle sells rods, and supertech sells valve springs. pretty sure you can get everything you could ever need through allecotec.com or turbotechracing.com. zzperformance.com is also a great resource.
and of course there are other companies out there that have options, too but these seem to be the most popular around here for ecotec's.

What are your goals and your build? If you're not planning anything out of the ordinary off the self cams would be good enough. BUT if you want push the limits, custom grinds are the only thing worth it.

You should be looking at rods and pistons then if you want to make over 250hp.
