When i start the car i have to press the gas pedal to get it going then it smell like a gas station in the car smh then if its idleing the rpm gauge will drop and then i gotta doing all over again Like i have no clue what it is I was told it could be my fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator idk i want to so what ya think

While the car is running Pull the vac line off the regulator and see if fuel sprays out, if it does you need a new regulator.

To test the pump you will need a fuel pressure tester and depending on the motor you may have a schrader valve to check it or you may have to tap into the rubber line.
