So I recently bought an intake and I'm in the middle of putting it on and I realize I need the MAF sensor (the actual sensor, not the plug) from the rubber tube on the stock intake. Anyone know the easiest way to remove it safely? I feel like I'm gonna break it.
We dont have a MAF in our cars.
We do however have an IAT and it just pulls out.
yes. It should come off easy.. You might have to wiggle it
ECOtec DOHC
For future reference thats your IAT sensor
Thanks guys lol. It came out easy with some pliers. Intact, too lol.

pliers? pansy. two quarter turns and it would have been out with your thumb and forefinger.

Negative. Mine was stuck in there ridiculously tight. That's why I feared it would break before it came out.
Hope you didn't blow the welds on the intake manifold .lolllll
