Hey everyone, I have a swapped ecotec car and its lowered, and boosted, seems like even before the swap the powersteering pump was loud, like it was sucking vacuum through the cap on the pump, anyone else have this problem? I am asking because it was loud on the original car and I am not sure if its getting old or if having it lowered far will do it, it did not do this on my OHV build.... Also I know that this is cam driven and most of my problems are at idle....

Might be on the way out, mine is quiet don't see how a drop or boosted would change that. Mine was blown and dropped still fine.

Yeah being dropped or boosted won't affect that. Pump is going bad.

Mine has made the sucking sound since about 50k, drives fine. I have about 76k on it now.

I would think that my 18 by 8 rims and huge tires with only a 1/3rd of the ground clearance would cause the rack to work harder, would it not?
