Will it help my permance really? If so, by how much? I have a cat-back exhaust, testpipe, headers, and intake already, and i'm looking to increase horsepower. I plan on going with larger vavles and a performance cam if applicable. I also already have a throttle body spacer. After all this how much will it really help?

I don't know what permance is, but as far as performance, +1 to what MD said. There's no such thing as a performance chip. If you want to boost power from your engine electronically, you'd need to take it to a shop for dyno time with ECU tuning.
If you get any decent cam....your going to need to be tuned anyway.

If you filled out your profile, we'd know what car you have...
1997 and newer J-bodies do not have chips, the PCM do not accept chips... they are unchipable... if you buy a chip you were just ripped off... catch my drift...
While we are at it... unless you plan to go Nitrous... ditch the throttle body spacer... this does nothing for you.
Our cars do not have "headers" they have a "header"... unless you have a 1994 or older V6, you only have one header...
How big is your exhaust... Considering you said Cam and not cams, we can assume here that you have an LN2 (2.2 or 2200 SFI engine)... If you went larger than 2.25, and/or have an open muffler (anything that makes noise) without any internal mods to the engine, you are probably losing power with it...

If your going as far as cams and valves your going to need hpt.
Chips don't work!
As stated already, you would need hp tuners or something depending on what year you have. Also spacers don't do anything for you, they will only add power on carbs and tbi engine's. The only other benefit is you could drill a hole in the spacer for a nitrous port.

I think it's more along the lines of, not everybody is a car person or knows a whole lot about the mechanics of a car.just here looking for some info and help. It's one thing to rip on someone for posting something stupid, but another if you are giving misguided info. Be it I'm sure it was all in fun but this guy might take it serious and cut his springs for example. Maybe crash because of it. I'd feel like a real a$$hat if that happened to me. Second, i've done research and realized the chip means nothing before i came back to check this.
