I am picking it up in two weeks. 94 Z24 Cavalier with a 3800sc swap done by a place in canada back in '02. THe motor only has 25k on it and the car 75k. Theres some small things i need to do like change spark plugs, maybe try to shield the 11'' k&n filterm install a highflow cat, etc.
My first thing i need to handle is moving the boost gauge and fuel pressure gauge from the hideous pillar pod and into somewhere on dash thats less obvious. I will also be installing a wideband at the same time. Where do people with 2nd gen mount their gauges? Any pics?
Thanks
Dale
take a look in second gen. there are a few people who have well built second gens.
i tried looking with no luck. there isnt any "build" threads here? like a section?
Almost all the build threads for Second Gens will be in the Second Gen Forum....
You are in the Naturally Aspirated Performance forum.
For your Motor stuff, you'll probably have luck posting in the Boost forum, while your Interior stuff, you'll have luck posting in the Second Gen Forum
Not sure about the engine, but what transmission does it have?
The only real option you have to mount them without a ton of custom work is on the pillar. I can count maybe two phase 2 cars with gauges somewhere other than that. The little "pocket" is a natural place for them, but would need fiberglass or something to mount them.
juicedz4- (I don't know if this is how it ended up or not)

Older pic-
There are a couple of guys with phase 1 cars that have done custom housings on the right side of the cluster.
