I'm looking for a solid steel motor mount on the upper passenger side of my 2000 cavalier non eco.
Can any one help?
I dont believe there is one being sold. There have been a couple people who have made them or had them made for themselves.
The poly mounts are pretty strong though. I would think having a solid mount would cause issues with the knock sensor on the engine.

I thought OEM or ttr had one? Could try them... Do you have 2.2 or 2.4?

Neither are solid for the upper. They all have poly.

To the OP, why exactly do you need a solid metal mount anyways? Why not run a poly mount?

"Due to the modular design of our mount the polyurethane bushings can be swapped out for solid aluminium bushings allowing you to run a
completely solid mount at the track and swap back to a more comfortable mount during the off days/season. "
I'm no expert but explain how that is not solid?
Also it is available for the eco and the ld9, if anyone cares...

I'm all good I fabricated my own solid upper motor mount at work today. It works pretty good.
Post some pictures?

Its pretty simple all I did was take the top of my mount off and replace the upper rubber part to solid steel. It fits in the mounts housing with a .001 of an inch.
Scratch my last post, that .001 of an inch made a lot of clunking. So I took it out made a much more precise one and welded it in. Runs mint.
