I have a 98 cav and i built an 02 block and head to put in it for circle track racing used the 98 injectors with the 02 intake. I also have a custom ground cam. Problem is it idles rough and runs really rich...could it be because of the injectors or is it something totaly different? The rail im using is off of the 98car also ...any help is greatly appreciated.
If it's a 2.4l, maybe the lack of an EGR makes the difference as pre 99 had egrs and 99+ didn't.
On the inside my car looks like a fighter jet.
im 99% sure he is referring to an LN2 since he said "cam" and not "Cams"... He needs to update his profile with his car or at least post up motor information in his help threads...
I'd like to know if he's tuned his PCM before i begin to speculate possible issues.
Sorry guys...its a 2.2 and no i havent had the ecu tuned yet...that was another question i had ...i figured id have to have. It tuned..how much and where do u guys suggest having it tuned??
Find someone who has HPTuners and have them tune it (may sure they know what they are doing because anyone can buy HPTuners)
With that Cam in there, you need a tune badly...
