Ok guys Im sorry for starting a new thred for this but my z24 is knocking and I do not want to put money in that engine if I'm just going to do this swap.. But I found a nice 3100 for cheap so I'm just going to use that until a get some more money saved up but the biggest thing is I NEED this done fast so I have a car but I work so much I don't have time to do the wiring do is there anyone who can make me a harness for cheap? Please help me out if you can, thanks for the help!

Yes a complete harness that will work my gauges and everything for the swap
A harness isn't going to be made for you "cheap". If I were to build you a harness, it's going to take me some time. And I'm going to expect that time to be worth something. So, you might as well forget about it being cheap and fast.
I think we've gotten it figured out from some of the other threads you've made, and this one. Combine that with your lack of searching, which happened again before this thread. This swap, really isn't for you.

Bud you know nothing about me I like to do things fast and right so if someone making me one is faster I'm going to do it, I'm not afraid to ask and I'm not afraid to tell you, this swap is for me I see it as a learning experience. So instead of arguing if you can make me one give me a price if not thanks anyway.
so search a little and figure it out. the time to splice a impala or other harness to teh jbody the right way is not short. i mean if you do not care how it lasts just go grab one, get some butt connectors and have a field day.
No need to explain I can do it but if I can get someone to do it for me for a decent price I'm going to.

Actually..... it's not too terribly expensive. And for quickness you can have the whole swap done over a weekend, including wiring. (OP can find that out if he searches) Fast, in the sense of 1/4 times, at the absolute best you're looking at mid to high 14's.

now, as for your wiring diagrams you pm'd me about ... those are on my home server. Due to a combination of 1 of the 6 HDD's failing as well as the power supply having to be replaced (internal short), you'll have to wait.
I know what it means I'm a computer nerd lol and this guy follows me on every thred and bashes me and I'm sick of it I'm just asking for help if he dosnt like what I'm asking he could simply ignor it and thanks for the help with the diagrams!

You're not asking for help. You're asking for someone to give you everything as a handout. You've also been informed by more than one person that you're obviously lacking the skill for this. Yet you keep trying. Refer to Oedwards reply above, that's what you're asking for.... not for "help"

I have no problem supplying the ECM pinout diagrams as a starting point (which is what he asked for)... hell, when I did my swap, I had no idea what I was doing either... just sayin
I hope dude knows the trans has to be changed as well..
This guy is making me out to be dumb or something and he dosnt even know me? I have done a lot of engine swaps and I did manual trans swap on my z24, I know I can do this swap but the less work I have to do the faster I can get it done but I know about the trans don't worry iv done plenty of research ( that was the reason for all of my threads)
Can someone pm me this printouts for the 97 z24 n 2003 grand am gr I'm trying to figure out this piggybacking situation..
I have a better idea. What I did when I did Myanmar transmission swap I changed all wiring to 2000-03 wiring, so after that is done, when you do the swap all you will need is an 00+ grand am harness and a impala PCM or flash and just plug it in. And works perfect!
Smh I want to keep all original in side my car all need is the diagrams n pinout... I'll go from there this is my swap I just need the pin outs

Swapping the interior harness on a 97 will not yield fully working gauges. Nor will it be plug and play directly either as some wires will need changed or added. If he swaps to 00+ he will need a plastic tank and newer sending unit. Evap is in front as compared to back so will have to either add wires or switch stuff there as well. Then not including the gauge cluster stuff. Then I would venture to guess the havc stuff is different being it runs threw the bcm but not real sure there. Also I would assume abs system needs switched, piggybacking would be the way I would go and the only down side is no tach.

you have 2 PCMs doin the smae results
nothing changes in the HVAC and nothing changes in the ABS except you need an 00+ abs master most delete abs anyway
when doin 00+ you do have more work buts its so much better

The abs master is what I was meaning where you would also have to change lines if you wanted to keep abs. As for the havc I never said I was correct, I said if I had to guess. I've never had the havc apart in the 00 to look at it if it would be plug and play. So as for being half right is a mute point to be honest. You got some what of a point to piggybacking, how ever it is going to be the cheaper route with everything working but the tach. It would also be less work to piggyback then to swap everything, I could see if he had a 99 where it would more easy to swap stuff over. The wiring part isn't that hard between either. Or wasn't to me any way. Where piggybacking would only be tapping into a few wires and giving the pcm hot and ground. I believe I have maybe 20 wires going to the stock pcm so not that bad of a deal.
The way I see it though if you don't want to piggyback, to swap over everything the car would have to be a show stopper. Other wise I would just pick up a 00+ j-body and sell the other one.
