L61 Pacesetter Vs LSJ Pacesetter
Tuesday, May 07, 2013 3:58 PM
I have search in the forum and don't found topic on this... If there is one sorry

Presently I have the 4-2-1 Tsudo headers and I hate it
Don't love the powerband a d alot of issues with leaks between the 4 to 2 flange

I put a l61 Pacesetter on the m62cavy of my Bro and I love it

I plan to buy one for me but on other forum alot of people tell that the LSJ Pacesetter is bigger and is better on a 2.2...

I don't have head porting but I think I will do this in the future.
But if I don't port my head can the LSJ headers will have less HP than the L61?
Or ported or not the LSJ is better for the 2.2 eco?

I am Supercharged with 2.9 pulley and full exhaust 2.5'' no Cat

Get the LSJ header.

It is much larger and with being boosted....bigger is better.

I have it and love it.

x2. There's really no downside to the lsj header.

Thread adjourned!

LSJ is the way to go, we sell a lot of them to J-Body owners.

Umm...no they're not. The L61 and LSJ headers are both $175 for painted finish or $280 for armor coat from Turbo Tech.

LSJ headers are good for what rpm range?
I like my bottom end torque at the moment ( my upgrades: mrz pulley, throttle spacer, wai weapon-r coming this week)
How is the low rpm with LSJ header on?

I'm trying to buy headers this month and after research, Tsudo is good on bottom end and LSJ pacesetters are good for top end..
I dailydrive my car and cruise on 5th gear around 2500 rpm..

Tsudo is good for a door stop.....

Pacesetter LSJ. If you dont plan on going supercharged youll be fine with the L61 header.

that's really not true. the Tsudo header is actually a pretty good unit. unfortunately the flange where the ports meet the head are never truly "flat" and so they develop leaks. if you have the resources to grind down the mating surface and create a flush mating surface the Tsudo header is honestly great for n/a engines.

Ok, I have the same question as peru_stylez. What exactly RPMs is the Pacesetter good for? When you say low end/high end, what ....RPMs to what RPMs is that?

the l61 pacesetter header is good for any MILD build NA car.

The LSJ header wont be as good on a NA car as it is on a BOOSTED car. I know. I have had it on both.

Ive had the l61 eco header and the tsudo I liked the tsudo more than the l61 pacesetter. I did pay to have the flanges machined flat on mine and have never had any leaks with the tsudo.

I'm not 100% on 4cyls but will the longtube header calm down the exhaust note a little? Videos are a bad source to judge but I thought I noticed this on a few YouTubes. I know LTs on V8s wake up the volume by 30%. I want to get a longtube for my 2.2 for sound, but some more high end passing power would be nice too.

I didnt really get my answer yet. Let me rephrase myself. I have a 2.2 ecotec auto. I like my low end power, I like my high end power. But I want to improve power between 2000-3500 RPMs, so thats a mid-range. Which header would be better; Pacesetter or Tsudo?

Tsudo
