I have a 2001 z24 with an ld9 and the getrag tranny, my question is what would it take to do a w41 motor and transmission swap? Would I need to do a transmission. Swap? My dad has an 1992 achieve scx w41 with a rusted body and is going to junk it. If I pull the motor and/or tranny out its mine! Please answer asap! I will keep the car just in case until I get some answers!

Yes. Keep the trans in the Z now, Use the LG0"s flywheel and get a GTZ (92-91) Clutch set. Find a set of used LD9 SC injectors, Program the ECM to not care about the Cam sensor and tune. Easy swap.
