Hey all, I just purchased the adjustable timing gear and stage 2 cam for my 2200. My question is I have a 60mm throttle body and my head is shaved 30 thou, where would I net the most gains? By advancing my timing or retarding it?
Where did you purchase this timing gear from.
I was not aware they made one for the 2200 motor.
Cam timing or "phasing" essentially effects where in the operating RPM-band the peak power occurs.... Advancing lowers the RPM, and retarding it raises it.
Go beyond the "bolt-on".
