Building a 2002 cavalier 4 door and looking for some cool tips in the performance department.it has the 2.2l, with the 4t40 trans. Looking at building something, with a little turbo and 5spd swap. Engine and trans are do e at this point, no rust on the body, everything else is good. This build is meant to be cheap as possible, and Junkyard parts most likely. 24 hours of lemons?

The engine is good to around 275whp before you start breaking things. The Trans is good to about 350ftlbs before you will nuke third gear.

What are some things I should do to strengthen the engine a bit before I put it in? I have a new torque converter going in as well.
