by the way no offense to anyone going to UTI... just pissed off
Yea that sux I know what your talking about, my brothers a master check at a chevy dealership out here. He's been doing this stuff since he was 16 now 10 years later hes got all the certificatitions and a damn good experience line. The only thing thats saving his a$$ aat the dealership is that he's one of two trans guys. Luckily people will stay pop for a new trans and some motor work but all the smaller things that add up he even said decreased so much latley.
I'm suppose to be starting at UTI on October 31st. Halloween, errie day, and I'm somewhat superstisious. (sp) Anyways, I know what your talking about, no dealerships in my area are looking for any kind of help, my buddy who just finished UTI is lucky enough to have a job, but hasn't had a busy day in way too long, and at my @!#$ty job, I sit and watch t.v. waiting for customers and maybe 6 cars come through the shop a night on a average week night. I have alot of doubts about how the industry is doing, but aside from teaching, I've got no other direction to go. Too bad I love cars and hate children, otherwise I'd switch back to gen ed. courses and a teaching deg. Either way, just gotta hold faith, and things will work out........right?
what sux is this car stuff isnt just my hobby its my life and thats all i enjoy doing and i dont want to do anything else.
