Paint Shops (kc)

Well im stuck. I am currently looking at bodykits and before i go ahead and purchase one im trying to get an estimate on how much it will be to get the kit primed and painted. So i have called around to all the local auto body shops and none of them will work on body kits because it is to much of a liability factor because they chip scratch and crack and break to easily. I have asked them if they know where to refer me to, to get it painted but no luck. So if anyone has any ideas or places get a quote from or that will paint it then please let me know, cuz there is no point in me ordering it if its going to sit around in the garage and want forever for paint. Also for those who have gotten theres painted approx how much did you pay. thanks again

You are probably looking at about $500-$700 if you have the whole kit done.

price all depends on what the kit is, what its made of it, quality of the finish ect... I've sene places that charge in the $400-$500 range, I've seen places that charge in in the $1500-$1800 range, personally I'd pay the more expensive price for the quality but if its just for a daily driver or whatever I would go with the cheaper one. It all depends on quality

Check with Charlie's in Blue Springs. No clue if they do body kits or not, but they have a good rep in general out here.

We paint in my garage. You buy paint (we'll set you up with the business) and we'll shoot it for you. Prices very. Interested?

lol. ive taken auto body and collision course so i have a bit of background and can paint but its been a while so i would have to have something to practice with. depending on how much my refund is will determine if i buy the kit. cuz im getting rims and tires first and then go from there but ill keep your offer open

OK. We body-worked and painted a 90 Honda CRX with a B16 in it, a few months ago. Sanding, wet sanded the bumpers, welded in patch panels where rust spots were, shaved windshield washers, shaved doors etc etc. Car came out looking BEAUTIFUL and brand new. Cleanest CRX in KC came out of our garage and once our build is done on it... probably the fastest CRX in KC too but... keep that away from the honda guys. Can you say ITB's?
