Awesome Exhaust Deal

I can get my exhaust done for about $325 with tax. I told him all that i really wanted was no raspyness, or any cackles at all and he knew exzactly what i wanted. That is 60 in labor, magnaflow muffler which he is giving me a price nobody can touch, and pricing the midpipes, a glasspack style resonator, all i have to do is get my header and put that on, take the car in, i can wait for the car in the shop because he said it wont take long at all. The pipe is aluminized or whatever instead of stainless. If anyone would want his number, let me know. He is located in the Chicago area. If anyone wants, get me the info on what you want and i can get it priced for you.

Do you own a header yet?? I have an opened, but un-installed/never used, ceramic PaceSetter sitting at home w/ a 2.5" (I think) Magnaflow cat (also un-used). Lemme know if you're interested

Yea, 98+ 2200, Ceramic is the "shiny" one, but it seems that PS has recently made a second (and different, I guess) "Armor Coat" - mine is the old one. From what I've read on the Org here is that you'd really have to beat on the header (as in wacking it with tools) to mess up the ceramic coating

Check PM's

^ I dunno... When I used to have a Firebird, I got everything behind the cat replaced (Walker muffler tho) and it was less than $200 - altho I can't remember if that car had a resonator or not. Hrm... I'm kinda thinkin' that it didn't, I know for sure that it had no resonator before I got the stuff replaced, so I'd guess that they did not put one in afterwards. I know b/c I cut the pipe 6" after the cat and was running a cherry bomb w/ open dump Got pulled over for it, so I had to get it replaced heh

hey vince when u talk to this guys ask him how much if i brought him everything but the pipe to do from the header back. it would be cat, res, and muffler he would need to put on. i already have my header on and draged through my exhaust so i figured its time for the new one. thanks man

^ I'd go with an amount closer to what Eric spent. All the have to do is put a couple bends in the pipe after the resonator, and weld on some hangars

Yours wouldnt take long, he is charging 60 in labor only, so that aint bad, he also said he could have mine done in around an hour, he just did a cobalt 2.5" in an hour so i think mine could be done too.
