i paid $3500 brand new for this bike last summer.
it's got about 1300 miles on it, few scratches from a curb.
runs great, still under warranty until july.

if you're thinking the 500's are alot faster, they're not that much faster.
that and the fact that the 250's are the same physical size. so if you think that a 500 would be any larger/more comfortable, they're not
