This is a feeler post to try and sell my yellow 2002 ecotec ls sport cavalier.
the car is completely back to stock.
2002 Cavalier LS Sport with 53k miles on body and swapped in 08 cobalt motor with 15k miles on it
all brand new GM parts and new paintjob except stock hood which was only on the car for its first 24k miles anyways. all brand new fenders, ls sport lip kit, interior, headlights, taillights, full brand new a/c system and more. 16" rims with brand new hankook gm certified balanced and mounted tires. they have the gm green dot on them since they were certified as perfect tires by gm.
the car looks brand new, absolutely no rust on the car at all
car is golden for at least another 250,000 miles. car is perfect
not sure on the price but im looking for around $6500 obo for it. plenty of people have told me that its a steal for it
can also get pics if need be, but there are some pics in my cardomain. car looks better now than when i first bought it. completely stock and beautifully redone with proper brand new parts.
wanting it gone so i can get my 08 avalanche LTZ or 08 tahoe LTZ and since im going to try my hand at air force spec ops (combat controller and pararescue)
an 08 l61? how did you get that to work? I thought they had small differences that made it hard to swap over to an older model?

Stock everything now correct? I just got off the phone with my credit union, and they will not approve anything more than $4000 loan for a 2002 with a 53,000 on the clock. Yes, I told them the car is in GREAT condition. As soon as I saw this post I said why the hell not. I can not get my cav running for the life of me......
I have great credit, BTW. But that is the best I can get a loan for from the few places I called.

the motor just swapped in and had the stock tune put back on it and it runs and drives great. it runs and drives brand new since the motor only has 15k miles on it
md- would you be able to do the loan plus the cash difference
Normally yes, but not probably right now, I'm still paying a lot of my wedding bills. I'm getting married in late June.

i would take 5500 for it at the least
i would get pics but all you would see is white since the car is covered in snow from sitting for the past few days. its a stock cavalier tho. not much to picture. no rust or problems whatsoever.
the car does still have the tein s-tech springs on it but will also come with the stock springs so if whomever buys it desires to swap over then they can.
i also have many other parts from the car the way it was before, like bare eco block and stock crank, balance shafts and everything plus a gm sway bar and lower strut bar and a forged eagle crank which they dont make anymore which im wanting to get rid of

That doesn't make sense.... the crank had a 58X reluctor ring that a J's ECM can not read, It has digital cam and crank sensors that a J's ECM can not read, it has a different Map sensor that a J's ECM can not read. It's not possible to put in a 07+ L61 in a J-body with a stock (or any) tune on a J-body ECM and have it run, it will never start with the crank ring being wrong.
my guess is whoever you bought it from lied to you. (the engine)

actually just confirmed with my father that went n got the motor, its from an 06 balt with only 15k miles on it. he thought it was 08 from the writing but is in fact an 06. honest mistake. so to clear it up, its an 06 2.2 eco with 15k miles.
please lock this or delete it. the cav is sold, sold for 5500 cash and got a 2008 silverado LT with 2LT package and 20" rims with only 22,000 miles on it
