Looking for a snowmobile for the wife around $1500 or less.

What size? year range? brand preference? We have an old 1986 polaris indy 400 just collecting dust. My brother also has been contemplating selling his backup sled, 1992 Polaris Indy 500 SP.

FYI, this time of year right through winter is the WORST time to look at getting a sled. Should have done it in the spring, could have got a better deal for the money.
