Prefer low miles. Ill just need swap in the diff from mine into the other trans... Let me know what you have!
Well at work GM just scrapped 16, 40 yard roll off boxes of BRAND NEW F23s for the cobalts.
..........and I take it that there is no way for you to get ahold of any of those?....why would they just scrap them all? wow

Well figured out it will more than likely same price to rebuild as it would to replace, so I'm just going to probably do that.
oh come on vince surely you guys can do a diff swap.... unless you're getting a rebuild for some amazing price and dont want to screw with it?
wow jmarks, thats utterly retarded in my book.
180hp in 1989 or 145hp in 2002, you decide. >

i will do the diff swap. Thats the easy part. the hard and expensive part would be replacing the synchro and shift fork. Clyde said I would be looking at like $400 to do synchros in it. and he said, replace it with new, never used. Or i can find a replacement trans for $400 or so. Ill just get the new trans, plug, sealant and do it again. im very good at it now.
Local pick and pull?? Ive got 2 extras there and I think ive paid maybe $80 each.
I'll sell you my whole car LOL
I used to race cars, now I race myself.
5K PB: 24:50
10K PB: 54:26
as long as its no more than $400 then thats fine
considering all i need is the trans... thats it and thats all. dont need anything else that I have not already specifically picked.
already have the clutch in mind, turbo rebuild shop picked out, tires picked, exhaust shop picked. everything is checked off my shopping list, just need the trans to start it all.
Well at work we aren't able to get any of them. It was a brokered deal with gm, they scrapped all the remaining BRAND NEW cobalt parts.
We also used to shred vipers lol, saw that the day I started working there! we usually shred around 500 NEW cars for chrysler every year.
