Well I am building a 4-cyl stock car, and Im using a ford escort, it has a 1.9 right now, but 88 hp wont be winning any races anytime soon, so I am on the hunt for a 2.0 SOHC 1997!! Motor, the 97 part is important. Junkyards around here want 500 bucks for one!!! Are they nuts? I have heard of people picking them up for around 200, so I was wondering if any1 knew of any junkyards reasonably close to pick up one of those motors, I am in SW Wisconsin, I wouldnt mind driving 3-4 hours. If any1 has a good idea will u leave their number so I can call them and ask what they have and how much. Thank you much!!!!

look at the big junk yard in bermji. they have like piles of stuff literally storys tall. and they just got a new shipment of stuff in. i would be surprised if they didn't have some stuff you were looking for
