seriously, i had a buddy recently that was looking to buy a bike and these bikes on craigslist were selling in a matter of hours. there were a couple of bikes that he wanted to get but wasn't fast enough getting there.
$5500 for a '01 (even with pretty low miles and no damage) is a little high. i paid a little over $8k for my '06...
good luck sellin it though.
blue book says it is supposed to have 19k miles on it, he has half that.
and it isnt beat to hell. the guy owned it b4 my bro took great care of it and my brother just drove back and forth to work on it and around town here and there. I would have to say the front tire never left the ground the whole time it was owned.

D@mn Jake, I'm looking to get an R6 in a couple of months. I have some second jobs lined up, but they will take about two to three months to finish. Hopefully he won't sell it until then.........yeah right. That price is right on and with him throwing in an helmet and jacket.......man I wish I had the cash in hand!!!!!! How about I make payments to him.........
